    Robotics Club
    • Participation in the OLMC Robotics program prepares students for high school-level competition and beyond. Alumni from the OLMC Robotics teams are currently using the problem-solving, teamwork, and coding skills that they learned from competing on a Robotics team to serve their community. Service performed by our team members include projects for their schools and service to the wider community with outreach programs that give disadvantaged kids an opportunity to learn about coding and robots. FIRST (The international robotics league we work with) lists over 164 scholarships on their website. Some former team members have even applied their skills in robotics projects to earn money. OLMC currently provides several different Robotics programs that meet after school, in the evenings, and on weekends.

These programs create opportunities for students to develop problem-solving, leadership, and teamwork skills while engaging with technology (sensors, motors, gears, programming...)

    Little Flowers
    • All OLMC parishioners are welcome to join! Little Flowers is an organization whose goal is to provide young Catholic girls, grades K - 4, with an opportunity to gather and learn about their Catholic heritage, faith, and traditions. The girls learn about Catholic virtues through fun-filled activities that highlight the lives of the saints. Following the model of our namesake, St. Therese of Lisieux, “The Little Flower,” the girls learn how to practice virtuous works of kindness and charity to grow in their love for Jesus!

Meetings are held after school one Friday each month, September - May, from 3:20 - 4:45 p.m. in the church's lower level. Monthly meetings consist of snacks, games, crafts, music & occasional guest speakers; yearly activities include our Daddy-Daughter Dance and Mother-Daughter Tea.

    Cub Scouts
    • Cub Scout Pack 125 at Our Lady of Mt Carmel

All OLMC students and parishioners are welcome to join! The Cub Scout program helps boys and girls, grades Kindergarten - 5th Grade, to develop qualities they will carry throughout their lifetimes by focusing on 12 core values of character development: Citizenship, Compassion, Cooperation, Courage, Faith, Health and Fitness, Honesty, Perseverance, Positive Attitude, Resourcefulness, Respect, and Responsibility.

Specifically at OLMC, activities are planned that focus on instilling the following values in our Cubs:
      • Faith
      • Leadership
      • Service
      • A sense of Adventure.

Scouts work as a whole Pack (all Cubs K - 5) monthly, but also meet as Den Levels (based on age and gender) to do various activities to earn the Rank of their grade level. To learn more about Cub Scouting at OLMC, contact [email protected].

    Boy Scouts
    • All OLMC students and parishioners, ages 11 & up are welcome to join!
Scouting, what is it all about? There are three aims to scouting:

      • Aim I: To build character
      • Aim II: To foster citizenship
      • Aim III: To develop fitness

These three aims are the bedrock of the American Scouting movement they represent the long-term outcomes we want for every boy.

It is the mission of the Boy Scouts of America to serve others by helping to instill values in young people, and in other ways to prepare them to make ethical choices over their lifetime in achieving their full potential.

Unlike Cub Scouting, which many are familiar with, Boy Scouting is a youth-led organization. The boys learn how to organize and lead the Troop. After training, and with supervision from the adult leaders, the boys run the show.
