A Christ-centered community providing excellence in education to meet the needs of the whole child.
St. John Paul II says in his letter to artists, “God, therefore, called man into existence, committing to him the craftsman's task. Through his “artistic creativity” man appears more than ever “in the image of God”.
we are all called to be stewards of the arts for our children. The OLMC Arts Council was formed with the belief that our Catholic school environment presents a unique opportunity for our children to grow as artists from guidance found in the teachings of our Catholic faith. The OLMC Arts Council seeks to provide regular, excellent opportunities in the arts for our children. We are parent volunteers, working closely with the Art and Music teachers to provide classroom support and offer various enrichment opportunities in visual arts, music, and performance.
We have ongoing opportunities to volunteer, both in the classroom and with various activities. Please subscribe to the Arts Council newsletter below to be notified of these volunteer opportunities.
Membership and leadership in the Arts Council are determined at the beginning of each school year. To join, please submit the annual PTO Volunteer Form indicating that you would like to participate in the Arts Council.
